40s just feels different


When it comes to health and fitness, age does matter.

Hey Reader,

I've recently entered my 40s and a lot of my clients are in their 30s or 40s.

What I've noticed is what used to work in your teens or 20s, just doesn't work as well in your 30s and 40s.

There are a lot of reasons for that, but as a coach, I am so over the rhetoric of 'calories in and calories out'. Although for the most part it still stands, there are external and internal factors that affect how your body loses weight and fat and it differs through the decades.

In 2025, I launched my email series to help women in their 30s and 40s with 22 tips in 22 days to get fitter and healthier or you may have downloaded my no fluff weight loss guide for women in their 40s.

In 2026, I will be running monthly workshops with key topics that I've discussed with my actual clients - topics of interest to them - and I would hope for you also.

With that said, the first workshop is to look at the differences between the decades and Why Fat Loss Feels Harder in Your 30s & 40s.

Hormones, metabolism, environment & what actually changes as you age.

That’s exactly why I’m running this upcoming live 90 min workshop with Q&A.
